In our workshop
Engraved here. Never sent out.
Engraved clocks don’t go to a warehouse. When your order comes in, we take your clock from our own shelf, set your words on the laser and cut them into the clock — into the wood on the front, or into the brass back, where every letter comes up in bright metal.
Then we read it back against your order, letter by letter, and pack it ourselves. That’s where the extra few days go.

How long does engraving take?
Engraved clocks ship in 3–5 business days. We engrave, check and pack each one ourselves, so it takes a little longer than a plain clock.
Can I return an engraved clock?
Engraved clocks are made to order for one household, so they’re final sale. If yours arrives damaged or doesn’t match what you ordered, contact us right away.
What can I engrave?
Letters, numbers and everyday punctuation — plenty for names, dates and verse references. Emoji and special symbols don’t cut cleanly, so the engraving form won’t accept them.
Will it be engraved exactly as I type it?
Yes, character for character: capitals, spacing and punctuation included. We engrave what’s typed, so it’s worth reading names and dates twice before you save.
Can I engrave in more than one place?
Each clock takes one engraving, in one of the three places. Two lines gives you room for a name and a date, or a name and a verse reference.
Can I change my engraving after I order?
Contact us as soon as you can and we’ll do our best. Once your clock has been engraved, the words can’t be changed.
Does it cost the same on Oak and Olive?
Yes — $25 on either wood. It’s added to the clock’s price when you save your engraving, so there’s nothing extra to find at checkout.
How close is the preview to the real thing?
It shows your words at the right size and in the right place, on a photograph of the clock. The real engraving is cut into the material, so it catches the light a little differently.
